Phil Acimovic has always been intensely interested in all types of sound, music and noise. As a musician and composer he is involved in modern classical music, Javanese Gamelan, Ghanaian drumming, and electronic music. He has composed works for choir, chamber orchestra, strings, percussion, and Wii controllers. His education has taken him from the Hartt School (Hartford) to Mannheim (Germany) to Tufts University (Boston).

Composer/Violinist Elliot T. Cless (b. 1984) is a graduate of Tufts University (BA ’06, MA ’08), where he studied composition with John McDonald and Elliott Schwartz. Recently, he has collaborated with groups such as the Point CounterPoint Chamber Players and Longitude New Music Ensemble. His triple string trio, Intonaçao e samba was recently selected as the winner of the 2007-2008 Longy String Composition Competition. Elliot is a co-founder/director and performer in AXIS Ensemble, an adjunct professor at Bristol Community College, and a music faculty of the Point CounterPoint Chamber Music Camp and the Tufts Community Music School.
